Specialises in complex commercial matters, corporate Law, arbitration, banking, receivership and liquidation, mergers and takeovers, privatisation, energy, environmental, oil & gas law, intellectual property and litigation. Acts regularly as party appointed arbitrator or chairperson of various arbitral tribunals.

Attained the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2007. Notary Public of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; Chartered Arbitrator and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK); past chairperson of the Port Harcourt Chapter of the Nigerian Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK). Member of several Associations including the Nigerian Bar Association (where she has held/holds several positions), the International Law Association (Nigerian Branch), Maritime Arbitrators Association of Nigeria, LCIA (African Users’ Council) and the Lagos Court of Arbitration. Immediate past Chairperson of the Section of Legal Practice of the Nigerian Bar Association.

Lectures at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja, Nigeria where she is a member of the adjunct faculty and is also an approved tutor of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (United Kingdom) teaching all levels of international and domestic commercial arbitration.

She is a regular resource person at seminars, workshops and conferences. Independent research carried out by Who’s Who Legal: Nigeria, Chambers and Partners and other organisations have identified her as one of Nigeria’s leading lawyers.
